If I draw a line between the ball and the front corner when Asal is ready to play the shot, Makin is out of the line, albeit just barely. Asal's racquet prep was a bit late, and he was shaped up for a reverse boast more than anything. Yes Let is the right call imo.

Gotta be a stroke - otherwise we'll have people pinging their opponent to prevent being robbed of their point.

Asal is prevented from using the right front wall early, to hit at or behind Makin who is trapped after his loose ball.
Asal should not prepare his swing early just to show that the stroke is obvious- that's an intimidation tactic which would force Makin to shrink back to protect himself.
